Are you passionate about a career in Electronic Manufacturing Service industry? Be part of our growing Electronic Manufacturing team as a full-time Manufacturing Engineer & Master Scheduler.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Manufacturing Engineer

  • Manage smooth operation of SMT equipment, conformal coating, Selective soldering, AOI machines, X-ray equipment, and various backend assembly equipment with support in programming, optimizing throughput, reviewing efficiency, performance enhancement and equipment upgrade.
  • Evaluate new processes, equipment and technologies for suitability, application and implementation.
  • Evaluate new, under development, and existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements.
  • Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process.
  • Create processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary goals, efficiency targets, and performance goals.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaboration and cohesion on new and existing products and processes.
  • Establish an effective and efficient work sequence.
  • Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing problems.
  • Review manufacturing process documents for optimized process flow.
  • Support New Product Introduction by reviewing the assembly process and tooling requirement.
  • Effectively implement industry enhancement on production processes.
  • Do cycle time analysis, line balancing, and line efficiency improvement. Provide target per station based on time study.
  • Facility relay-out based on Lean concepts.
  • Support production in improving output.
  • Provide training and guidance to the production associates.
  • Resolve technical issues related to the process, product, processes to optimize process.
  • Analyze the non-conformances, determine the root cause and support disposition.
  • Note: this position may need to supervise Line operators from time to time to monitor output/efficiency/shipping schedule.
  • Work with cross functional team to improve yield.

As a Master Scheduler

  • Coordinate the production activities from Receiving to Packaging by presiding the weekly planning meeting, updating the production schedule based on customer priority and parts availability, plan for capacity and reallocate resources.
  • Update the system on a timely matter and coordinate all activities accordingly.
  • Use time study and align capacity and targets.
  • Any additional task that may be assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Working knowledge of programming and operating SMT pick and place, printing, AOI machines, x-ray machines and creating reflow oven recipe.
  • Proficient with electronic components and manufacturing materials like flux and solder paste.
  • Be able to guide, suggest and implement efficient and effective tools, stencils, fixtures and automation to improve assembly process quality and yield.
  • Able to analyze defect and process data to identify the root cause for failures and recommend process improvement and first pass test yield.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and ability to work within a Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Proactively pursue better methods and/or new technologies to suggest design enhancement and manufacturing cost reduction.
  • Working knowledge of through-hole process and wave soldering.
  • Good knowledge of CAD software to review board layout.
  • Can do attitude and can work with minimum supervision.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Process/Manufacturing Engineering role.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and Manage the Warranty and Repair service of EV chargers.
  • Coordinate and Manage the Warranty and Repair service of Other Green Technology Products.
  • Manage the Service Contractors.
  • Manage the Service Inventories.
  • Manage the Knowledge Data and Technical Documents properly.
  • Manage the Training Program for Contractors.
  • Work with other Team members.
  • Dispatch the Contractors and complete the Service request.
  • Update the Service status Information.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is thoroughly scrutinized and updated.
  • Schedule, coordinate and initiate updates of timelines internally and directly with clients.
  • Provide details and update timelines, keep management, sales reps and clients informed on workflow, and understand the product and support options.
  • Convey vital information on current job status and incoming work during production meetings.
  • Carry out the tasks in a highly independent, accountable, professional and responsible manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the sales team and sales agents to identify new sales opportunities for EVSE products.
  • Develop plans, and implement strategies to grow our EVSE Business through various channels and vertical markets across Canada.
  • Collect and analyze market information, report to Management for planning and implementation.
  • Maintain regular contact and positive relationships with prospective vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Assists in organizing and promoting Sales and Marketing projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or University Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • With work experience in the Automobile, Energy, Electric Vehicle or EV Charger industries
  • Minimum 5 years Business Development or sales experience
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a proven track record
  • Exemplary organizational skills, outstanding paperwork, process, and procedural execution
  • A fast learner to navigate the new system, including productivity software and other online resources to collaborate with the team and the business partners
  • Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors
